Orientation days on 27 and 29 August for first-year Hungarian and international students
July 11, 2025
Organised by the University of Pécs Medical School and Faculty of Pharmacy, a two-day programme series will begin on 27 August with an information session for students enrolled in the German-language general medicine and dentistry programmes, as well as the English-language general medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and biotechnology programmes. On 29 August, students beginning their studies in the Hungarian-language general medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy programmes will be welcomed with a series of lectures. On both days, optional programs will also be offered, to which the organisers warmly invite all first-year students.
Participation is mandatory in the main information sessions (including presentations by the Registrar’s Office on enrollment and procedures regarding the start of the semester, as well as lectures from the Hungarian, English, and German Admissions and Student Service Offices and the respective Student Unions).
Among the optional programmes are various workshops designed to help freshmen navigate university life. Students will also find numerous information booths introducing them to additional departments, services, and programmes of the faculties and the university, along with external organisations.
Some programmes of the event require prior registration and have limited capacity, so early sign-up is recommended.
More information, including the schedule and registration platforms, will be available in the orientation guide. Details are already accessible on the German platform, will appear soon on the English one, and from 23 July, the day when national admissions results are released, on the Hungarian website as well.
