Autumn, beanbag, tea - medical students in Pécs got to know their Peers

October 30, 2025

“Have a hot chocolate with us!” read the poster for this year’s Chill with the Peers event — and many people took the invitation to heart. On October 28, between 1 and 5 p.m., the Hungarian Admissions and Student Service Office hosted a cozy, get-to-know-each-other afternoon in the atrium of the Dr. Endre Grastyán aula of the Medical School in Pécs.

Students had the opportunity to learn more about the Peer Program while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate, some warm tea, and a few snacks. They also had the chance to meet the peer mentors — fellow students from the General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Biotechnology programs — who support their peers whenever they need help or simply have questions about university life or their studies. These may include topics such as using the Neptun system, time management, housing, or even personal guidance and mental health support.

The organizers also prepared popcorn and sweets for the students and set up conversation corners among the autumn decorations, creating cozy spaces for deeper discussions.
