Held as part of the “200 Years of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences” event series, the event, titled “From Implant Printing to the Fine Arts—The Invisible Presence of Chemistry,” explored the role of 3D printing in art, pharmacy, biomedical science, and medical technology. Hungarian experts presented educational, research, and practical applications of the technology, covering areas from drug printing and biomedical applications to artistic uses and the development of medical devices. In his presentation, “Applications of 3D Printing in Medicine” Roland Told discussed the use of additive manufacturing in medicine and its potential for medical technology development.

The program also featured an interactive exhibition showcasing a range of 3D-printed objects and products, including works of art, pharmaceutical applications, skulls and other anatomical models, medical devices, and models produced using 3D-printed molds.

We would like to thank the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for the invitation and for providing an opportunity for professional exchange and dialogue.
