Announcement: Tabletennis tournament!

Table Tennis Tournament
Goal: To provide a fun and rewarding way to spend free time, offer a competitive opportunity for members of the PTE ÁOK community, foster sportsmanship, and promote the sport of table tennis.
Place and Time: March 22, 2025 (Saturday) 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM POTE Gym (Jakabhegyi u. 6.)
Organizer: UP MS Sports and PE Centre
Referees: PTE ÁOK TMK staff
Participants: PTE ÁOK students
Registration:
Competition Format: Depending on the number of participants, either a round-robin format or a group format will be used.
Determining Placements:
- Round-robin: The competitor with the most points wins. In case of a tie, the head-to-head results between the tied competitors will be considered.
- Win: 2 points
- Loss: 1 point
- Group format: The number of competitors advancing from each group will depend on the size of the groups.
Prizes: Winners will receive medals, and the first-place winner will receive a cup.
Other:
- Participation in the event is free but requires registration.
- Muesli bars, fruit, and refreshments will be provided for participants.
- The organizers will provide sports equipment (table, net, racket, ball), but participants are allowed to use their own racket and ball.
Schedule:
- 10:00 AM: Opening, information, draw
- 10:15 AM: Warm-up
- 10:30 AM: Competition, recreational sports
- 2:00 PM (scheduled time): Announcement of results
