The 4th Symposium on Super-resolution and Advanced Fluorescence Microscopy and Workshop
University of Pécs Medical School
The Institute of Physiology, the István Ábrahám Nano-Bio-Imaging Core Facility at the Medical School of the University of Pécs and Cellular Imaging Hungary cordially invite you to participate in the Fourth Symposium on Super-resolution and Advanced Fluorescence Microscopy and István Ábrahám Memorial Workshop. The Symposium will take place on April 11-12, 2025 at the Medical School of the University of Pécs, Hungary.
Since 2022, the Symposium has been a forum for national and international scientists, who use and develop super-resolution microscopy and other advanced microscopy methods to present their latest technical innovations and scientific results especially in the field of life sciences. The Symposium will also be an opportunity for researchers working in various specialized microscopy facilities to build collaborations and to learn about good practices in managing those facilities.
Two further sessions will extend the scope of the program: one focussing on autism spectrum disorder and another on TRP channels.
Organized around his birthday, the program will include the traditional István Ábrahám Memorial Workshop, where we remember István Ábrahám, former Head of the Institute of Physiology, founder of the Nano-Bio-Imaging Core Facility in Pécs.
We are delighted to present a comprehensive 2-day program featuring an international panel of renowned scientists. Additionally, we invite poster presentations of original research related to the aforementioned topics.
Our host city Pécs is a picturesque and lively university city on the southern slopes of the Mecsek mountains in southern Hungary offering rich cultural heritage, great gastronomy, and a surrounding region well worth discovering.
The deadline for registration and abstract submission is March 9, 2025.
Please check the Symposium website at superresolution.hu for regularly updated information.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Pécs!
