14th Annual Orpheus Conference - March 21st - 23rd 2019

On behalf of the organising committee I am writing to share with you some information regarding the 14th Annual Orpheus Conference which will be held in Dublin, from March 21st - 23rd 2019.
Conference
The overall focus of the upcoming conference is "Quality Training Environments for Biomedical Researchers" a topic which is central to all our efforts to provide out students with programmes based on excellence. This overall topic will be addressed through 4 specific themes, on which the conference sessions will be based. These themes are
- Empowering doctoral supervisors,
- Building resilience & supporting timely completion,
- Optimising student experience and
- Broadening horizons.
These topics will no doubt be of great interest to the Orpheus membership and the wider community. The conference programme will be available from http://www.ucd.ie/orpheus2019/
Abstracts
We are particularly keen to give you the chance to contribute to the discussion on quality training environments and encourage you to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the 14th Orpheus conference. Abstracts should address one of the themes mentioned above and should include
- Title
- Authors
- Affiliations
- Abstract Text- No more than 250 words.
Abstracts should be submitted by 31 Jan 2019 to orpheus2019@ucd.ie
Registration
Registration for the conference will open very soon and this link will be located at the conference website http://www.ucd.ie/orpheus2019/
An email to alert you will be sent from this address when registration is open.
Discounted early registration is open until 21st February 2019.
Accommodation
In regard to accommodation, we have listed three hotels located near the UCD Campus on our website, providing a range of options for you. For your information, we will host our conference dinner at the Radisson Blu St. Helen's Hotel To book a room here you will need to contact the hotel before January 31st and quote "UCD Medicine Research"
